Inductive Proximity Sensor Pair

These inductive proximity sensors detect metal targets without contact, using an electromagnetic field at the sensing face to switch an output for PLC and machine-control inputs. The cylindrical M12 housing is offered in flush and non-flush versions, with sensing distances up to 4 mm, NPN or PNP output, and normally open or normally closed switching logic. Typical duties include confirming machine positions, detecting metal parts on conveyors and part-present checks in automated assembly. Supply voltage, cable or connector termination and the clearance needed around a non-flush sensing face vary by model, so confirm mounting space, output type and switching function before ordering.
